We have been granted a stand at next year's NEC 'Restoration Show'

Details are:

Stand: 5-362 in Hall 5

Dimensions: 9.5m x 12m

Area: 114sqm

That's enormous! :o

That's twice as large as we had last year :clapping

That's 5 or 6 cars, depending on how much working space we allow ourselves.

We have one offer of an R8 416 for a 'mild makeover' - what other offers do you have?

Remember no painting, welding etc and if it's major mechanical stuff there needs to be a 'plan B' involving a trailer to get it home even if the expectation is to drive out.

I'll offer up my K16 engine again for the head gasket and oil rail pre-emptive strike. If we could get one of our mechanical experts on-board and get the work filmed as well we could then put it up on youtube and a link from the web-site for future reference. I can also bring along an old D16 engine that packed up on me years ago to play around with. I think that was a head gasket issue at the time.

Additionally, there are probably bits of Trusty Rusty I could bring along for refurbishment - but I'd need a decision fairly early on this so that I could ensure any pre-work and removals could be done in time.
