Finally picked up a Saloon today with the plan to replace my 120 hatch with. Brought it off another forum member who as had the car since 2005 and she has covered only 57,000 miles. Ive took a bit of a risk with it since the key and fob has been lost but for £300 i thought its worth that in parts alone. I took the SCU, FOB and Steering column from my 120 just so could get the car steerable, unlocked and to get the alarm switched off but to get into the car had to knock in the drivers rear window. Ive ordered another FOB, SCU and ECU from Ebay so until then i wont have much to update you all on....

Imo the 45/ZS are by far the best MG/Rover car in every aspect

That's MG rovers end of line finest galvanised tank

Just to add I've fitted the new SCU, ECU and fob and she runs like a dream looking forward to getting it on the road not had a KV6 before but guess I better get the cambelts done before I start using it as they have never been replaced

Never been replaced, that's scary. Get them done asap. The belts on my 75 have been replaced twice and are heading rapidly towards another set!
