I’m Mav I’m from Devon, I recently purchased a 1992 Honda concerto hatchback that I’m going to clean up and modify to be a show car.

It’s my first one of these but I’ve wanted one since before I started driving; I saw one in exeter once and that was it I had to have one.

I’m fairly competent with usual car maintenance, repairs, paintwork and small details but I’m looking forward to learning things from the people who have owned these cars (and their rover brothers).

It is great to have you on board and you will find a few more Concerto owners on here too. It's amazing how many people out there don't even know that the Concerto exists and we actually displayed one on our stand at the NEC a few years ago so that visitors could see the similarities and differences side by side!

There are very few Concertos around now!

Welcome to the forum and enjoy your "new" car.

Mechanical bits (engine, gearbox, suspension) are basically the same as any Rover R8 216/ 416 with the Honda engine and plenty of spares still out there.

Well done for taking on an older car as a project, so that another one is avoiding the crusher!
