Rover Owner looking for advice

Post by Ironfist_Asuka »

Hi all! My name is Ironfist and I am the proud owner of a red Rover 216 Convertible cabriolet :cool

I have joined the forums to ask for some advice, as she is starting to show her age!

Please see photos of my car below:

I will certainly be browsing the advice forums, as there is some paint chipping on the wing mirrors that I would like to repair. And 2 of the speakers have spontaneously stopped working too! :unsure

In terms of other interests I love anything Japanese (cars included) and video games.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to getting to know the community here :)

Regarding your speakers, first check you haven't got the Balance or Fader controls set up that way :laughing2

Welcome to the club. I’m sure you’ll find membership really useful. Being a bit of a mechanical thicko, being able to pick the brains of very knowledgeable fellow members has been invaluable.

And I love the red interior!

Yes, I too have a red Cabriolet and I can honestly say it is the best car I have ever owned. On a sunny day, with the hood down, it is a head-turner. Allow more time when you go shopping as you will be stopped, usually by the more mature person, who wants to know all about your car. Mine is approaching its 26th birthday and it still has that effect on passers-by. Long may it be so! Enjoy it and put it away in the garage every night. My wife says I care for it more than I care for her. - I don't know what she means. :laughing
