Is there any way to find the original dealer of my car?

Be cool to get the plates original and maybe a tax disc holder or something 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just a thought i had that i have no idea how to follow through with *laughs*

The reg plates could narrow it down to an area and you could then see if there was a Rover dealer in that area when the car was originally sold?

Have a look in the front of the service book, if you have it; you might find a PDI stamp from the original dealership.

Last three digits of the reg are the location identifier-post those up if you're happy to do so and I'm sure someone will know of the local dealerships!

Check out my link above, CS, it's the last two digits that are the location identifier, which tallies with mine which has "NO" which is Chelmsford and the dealer was in nearby Southend!

So my problem is the car came with no paperwork it has dealer plates on but to a small little garage in deep kent but according to that link my "KY" means Sheffield so its done the rounds *laughs*
