2 things stop my Rover from being, in my eyes, the perfect car for every occasion: no aircon, and no cruise control. I’m terrified of losing my license with all the variable speed cameras, not through dangerous driving but through accidentally missing a sign. The aircon I can live without as my sunroof works.
I saw some old posts about cruise control. Does anyone know if 220s or 420s ever had this and if it’s retro-fittable…. Of course if I could ever find the parts!

I did see a genuine Rover accessory cruise control kit advertised on one of the Facebook groups not long ago. Would be a nice thing to have if you can get it fitted and working properly.

Good to know they existed. Getting a wiring diagram might be trickier unless it’s obvious where all the parts go. Things like where it takes the speed reading from would be interesting I suspect.
I think at sone point I’m going to have to finally relent and get a Facebook account… presume it’s been a while since the ad and it’s sold?

Not sure - I’m not on Facebook, a mate sent it to me suggesting it for one of my cars.
From memory it was around £300.
