500 Rover 220 GTi Turbos, 250 420 GSi Turbos and a 1000 Rover 220 GSi Turbos
I reckon the 500 Rover 220 GTi Turbos, 250 420 GSi Turbos numbers are too conservative - they must have sold a 1000 of each- well that's what i reckon anyway

I hope those figures are correct.....I the information I always found told me that the 400 was the rarest, but other than Ebay, I'v never seen a Turbo that wasn't in a 800, 600 or Tomcat........other than mine of course

Perhaps thats why I have the perception that the 3drs are rarer.........I see my 4dr everyday

From the numbers I have seen for sale I think they are about right.

It took me 10months or so just to find one 220GTi Turbo for sale, after seeing a few GSiT for sale.

It would be fantastic if we could get a definitive answer on them though.

When looking for mine there were more GTis than GSis I found. Mine sort of fell in my lap.

Regularly on egay in both forms now.

I was looking at some old notes i had jotted down a year or so ago and i came across this
220GTI Turbo numbers sold 631
220GsI Turbo numbers sold 1054
I reckon i got these of the MG forums.Tried googling those keywords but no luck
