Newbie From Sussex

Post by 617sqn »

Hello. I'm a bit of an interloper here, as my daily is an MG ZS 180. So hopefully that won't be held against me too much, and you'll answer my technical queries when needed :cool

I live in Sussex, have had BL, BMC, Rover and MG cars since the late 70s. From Austin 1100, Marina van, 2 Rover SD1 v8's, a nice Rover 620 ti, to my current MG. I tend to keep my cars for long periods, and look after them as best I can, generally as a home mechanic.

Cheers, Andy G.

Owning a ZS is no problem round here :cool

They are from the same platform as the 45, so parts availability, problems and repairs are very similar.

How are you front jacking points ? :laughing2
I like Twin Cams, Single Cams, Turbos and 5-cam VVCs :cool

I live near Gatwick airport. My ZS has benefitted from the jacking point panels that the Club and DMGRS have produced together. They really are fabulous items. My welding expert is equally impressed too. I'm hoping to get it back very soon - I'll post images if I can.
