Hi Julie, a little bit more info would be helpful,what year is car ,what shape and we are talking heater what happens with fan on, how long after starting does it take to get any heat. Mike :

As far as i know revving should make no difference as the water as to circulate through the whole engine and heater matrix,if you can get the engine warm find the two hoses that go into the heater under the bonnet one hse is in and the other out they should both be hot if not you have either an airlock or a stuck thermostat, ive not seen a diagram of your engine as mines an earlier coupe but thats what id try first, :?: you havent recently toppod up your rad have you.

yes checked them this mornin and the water was down again but saw it leakin out from the water pump so took it to the garage and gettin it fixed and the cam belt done at the same time
