My 220 GSi T

Post by RobBBoi »

Gave my car a quick wash yesterday. Typically today, it snowed on it, so now looks a bit grubby again. *laughs*

Here's a few pics from yesterday. :)

No its not. A few bits of rust have flared up pretty quick though. Had 36k on it when I bought it 2yrs ago, just coming up to 50k now.

Thanks. :D . Its had a change of wheels and brakes since then. I'm hoping to do a few more shows this year but have a few niggles to sort out first.

Rob,

That looks really clean especially at this time of the year ?

Is that your daily runner or a weekend toy ?

As always a stunning and well spec'd car would like to see it in the flesh one day.

Cheers Firose, means alot considering yours is so good!

Usually its been my weekend toy, as I had a little fiesta to trundle to and from work in. My younger brother however past his test roughly a month back and stole the fiesta from me. The 205 on stands in background is my other brothers, we started to use this to get to work until his 2000mile old release bearing exploded taking the clutch with it, so I've been having to use the GSi every day for the past 3 weeks-ish. It was filthy though as it didn't get washed in that time.

Had to wash it twice on Saturday because it was so bad, but always comes up like that, mainly due to the fact that I used to mop it regularly and polish and wax it every couple of days. Think I had a bit of OCD at the time *laughs*!

I have just bought a little diesel 106 to use as a run around, so the GSi can go back in the garage when I tax the pug, as there a few little jobs I want to sort before the summer. Shame I couldn't tax the pug last week as I really, really do not like driving the GSi in this snow and ice.
