Cabriolet Interior

Post by Droitwich Lloyd »

I'm wanting to put a pre-96 half leather interior in my cabby but I don't think it was available as an option (I've only seen full leather).
Does anyone have an idea how different the rear seats are from the Coupe and if they might be persuaded to fit?

Thanks in advance.

Just the seats or the door cards too?

I think the seats should fit as the cabriolet looks to be the same below the waistline - it even has the same bootlid as the Coupe.

I would have thought the coupe seats would fit in the cabriolet. I guess the only way is to give it a go, and if it doesn't fit sell them on.

Thanks for the advice people, yes I do want the door cards aswell, because they've got the walnut inserts which I like.

Our 1995 Coupe with 1/2 leather does not have walnut inserts.

Now I have no idea on this as I've never done it, but I did here that the coupe seats differ slightly from the cabby ones. Nothing drastic or major, just where they fit alongside rear door card one set curves round to door the other doesn't, so leaves a slight gap, but not worth worrying about.

Again I stress its what I've heard not what I've done :)
