Hi, I'm new to the forum but not Rovers ! I've previously owned 2 416 auto saloons , a H and M plate ,and have just been lucky enough to pick up a 94 Sli Tourer . I was trying to avoid the 'newer' ones due to the problems we had when the immobiliser played up on our last Sli.

We bought this one and have the owners pack but not the Security card that the immobilier switch off code is shown on. I've looked through all the manuals for any code written inside ( that's where we found the code on our last one) but no joy. Is it likely to be anywhere else ,or can anyone tell me how to switch off the immboliser otherwise please ? Nothing wrong with it currently just thinking ahead !!

Also at what mileage should the cambelt be changed please ?

You can get the EKA code from Rover dealers, or it can be recovered using diagnostic equipment- ask your local garage.

Worth doing just in case
