Just lately I have checking the MPG achieved by my 1995 214 SI, and I am amazed!

Okay, I have been driving as economically as I can: accelerating gently, cruising at 50MPH, and anticipating stops etc, but nevertheless didn't expect to get 47.89 MPG !

I suppose living the Flat Fens helps too.

I'm well pleased.

That's no supprise, I drive our 1.8VVC coupe as normal and occasionly how they should be driven and I get around 40mpg.
