I'm hoping to put the B18 Honda(1800 dohc v tec) engine into my honda engined 216, can anyone shed any light on whether engine mounts line up,gear selecter matches up and drive shafts fit hubs? thanks...

I think i read either on here or another forum that some had fitted a b16 v-tech into a R8 and they had to fabricate new engine mounts on the inner wings and the gear linkages from the donor car and also of coarse the wiring loom and ecu.

thanks,i wonder if the R8 was honda engined before swap originally?
