Wood effect heater surround fitted pics!!

Hi , I have just fitted a wood effect heater surround to my 214 SLi , however I think it looks abit naff , what do you think?

I may do a piano black paint job on it.

I think I may do a piano black job on it. Rather than just having soulless black plastic.

Hi , I got it from ebay it was about £12. They are from bubble shape 200s .

I will try and get another pic posted up . Its growing on me now.

Nah it doesn't. Everyone has different tastes. In my opinion Walnut Dash = Stylish and showing some class.

I would much rather have wood anyday. :P

I agree with Stringy on this one but I also think it looks better than plain black. I'm having all my wooden bits inside done in Carbon look when I get the time to install them 8)

I sanded my lil wood part around the clock 2 days ago, primed it then painted it black. I had the same color (black) on that part of the car in my 216 GTi. I personally prefer it this color :D
