I fitted new Avon tyres to my 216 Cabriolet less than a year ago (under 6000 miles driven). Today my garage tells me that the inner edges of both rear tyres are almost bald. Is there any adjustment to the rear wheel geometry that could need to be changed? Or is it likely to be wear and tear on the 37 year old bushes in the rear suspension?
Thanks

get it 4 wheel aligned, the rear has a lot of adjustment in it and most of the latteral bushes will be old and worn too.

Re: Rear Tyre, inner edge wear
Rear toe is adjustable on the R8. Get the suspension checked for wear, correct/replace components as necessary, then a four wheel alignment. You’ll be amazed how well it drives afterwards - the rear has more influence over the balance of the car the higher the speed.
