Finally got around to joining. I honestly thought I had done some years back but got mixed up with one of the other Austin/Rover/MG clubs!
I've had a fairly endless list of 45s at this point so I'm not going to get into listing them all. The main point of discussion on here for me is the 200 Cabriolet I just acquired.
A know car on here I believe, known as "Pinkie" on the front cover of the Viking a few years ago. It's a complete wreck but I'm going to try and revive it for usage on the continent.
Fingers crossed all goes smoothly. First task is sorting a truly apocalyptic dash rattle at idle which I think is tied to the front demist vents.
Finally joined!
Re: Finally joined!
And the club, eventually
Will have to look up 'Pinkie' in the mag to remind me.
Is it/he/she on-the-road at the mo? If so, any chance you'll be along to the BL Rally at MK museum on the 24th?
I like Twin Cams.... and Single Cams...and now Turbos
Re: Finally joined!
I had look in the archive and it's the cover of Oct-Dec 2017. Unfortunately the condition now does not reflect the condition then, inside or out....
But Pinkie is roadworthy, though I think making the trek to Milton Keynes would be brave unless I can get some free time to sort a few things. If I haven't sold my current 45 by then I may drive over in that!
We shall see, if not I believe I'll be using it to transport people from work to the Beaulieu MG Centenary event on the 30th. So I may be able to sneak it in somewhere there should people want to see it!

Re: Finally joined!
Welcome! Best wishes with the works required.
Re: Finally joined!
Much appreciated! Hopefully it all goes well. It's such a shame a car that seemed to be in pristine condition only a few years ago is so poor now. I've been digging into it today and list is getting very very long.
