Ms. A Series found this for me as I had enquired about it. I went to last years' one and it was great. This has been copied from M&MOC and the contact details can be found on here.

Following last years inaugural Pride of Longbridge Rally, a second is to take place in 2007 organised by the Longbridge Community Action Trust which supports those affected by the closure of MG Rover. The annual rally marks the second anniversary of over 6000 employees being made redundant and celebrates the cars, the work of the factory and the people behind it over 100 years.

The format will be similar to last year and a parade of cars will converge on Cofton Park opposite the main entrance to the factory on Low Hill Lane in Longbridge (the East Works where we assembled last year is currently being demolished). A starting location and time have not yet been publicised, and full details will be made available once arrangements have been finalised.

The Rally is open to all Austin and Longbridge built vehicles including other marques whose engines and gearboxes were made at Longbridge. There is no entry fee and no need to book in advance.

The purpose of Austins in Action day is to ensure that significant numbers of Austin and Longbridge vehicles are seen on the road that day, and to encourage drivers of different ages of Austin/Longbridge vehicles to acknowledge one another by waving etc. when they meet or pass.
