yes. remove the battery in the fob. then press and hold one of the button for 20sec to drain an residaul power left in the fob. Then insert the batt. again and try the fob. Probibly have to press the unlock button 4 time to re-sinc the fob to the car.
Thanks for the advice but no that hasn't made it work. Looks like its going to cost me £60 to get it reprogrammed :( If anyone knows anything else I'd be ever so grateful. Carl
Change the battery as described, unlock the car with the key then press lock rapidly at least 5 times. Shouldn't need to pay for it to be re programmed just for a dead battery in the fob.
