Wrong oil filter
Dont know if this may be of use to anyone, but I have just changed the oil on my newly acquired 216 coupe and have found that although its a 1600 the oil filter for a 1600 wont fit - I have found that it needs one from a 1400.

Re: Wrong oil filter
All K's use the same oil fillters so I'd say you have a bad fillter

Re: Wrong oil filter
Thats what I thought but Halford list two types for the rover one for 1.4 HOF200 and one for 1.6 HOF213.
Unless they have listed the Honda 1.6 wrongly.

Re: Wrong oil filter
maybe just a coincidence with the part numbers but the first number HOF200 may relate to mk2 200 k series as there all the same and the second HOF213 to a mk1 213/216.
