Which strut brace to order..?

Post by EsSieJ »

Hello everyone,

As stated in topic title, which strut brace should I order? Which brand, shop, etc. It has to be shipped to the netherlands. Paypal is my preffered payment-methode.
It's for my '91 216GSi.
Does somebody have any tips? :)
Edit: it's for in the engine bay, already got one in the boot :tongue

Hi,

I ordered my strut brace @ www.hubtraum.de, it´s also to find at ebay.

I have now a Sparco Alu strut brace, very good quality.
Greetings from Germany!

Motobuild do one for the Tomcat - which I am pretty sure will still fit your 216GSi - and that is a copy of the original Tomcat Racing Series one made by Rover Sport. I don't think it's tremendously cheap though...

...but might be worth a gander?

Thanks, I looked up their website, but they don't ship outside the UK.
Too bad because I like the look of it. :tongue

I once custom made one out of a solid metal pole and fixing brackets aroud the top mounts painted it in halfords red metal paint and got a sparco stiker for it looked smart as and worked a treat :) and onley weighed about 5 kg which is less than some off the shelf ones and didnt cost me more that a £10er

Probably worth ringing or emailing Motobuild to ask if they can ship internationally, there is a only a couple of them who run the business as far as I am aware.

Also worth noting that the appropriate civic braces fit too I believe.

Hi check this company out. They might post to you I would give them a ring but for the price of the brace it would be worth it.
