Electric sunroof

Post by goldenbrown »

:?: Hi,
I have just about had enough of the manual winding mech on my sunroof falling to bits every other day and wonder how easy it would be to fit the electric roof?

My car is a 1993 414 Sli, the question really is are all the necessary wires there??????

Many thanks
Steve

I`m not so sure, I think you`d have to fit all the electrics and wiring etc. Best thing would be to do, in my opinion, is to get down a scrapyard, find a car with the elecric sunroof fitted, take the headlining off and see whats there and whats involved. I dont think it would be too big a job, just make sure the seals are ok, otherwise you`ll get damp :)
