Hi all, i have recently sold......well actually swapped, my 416 Tourer.
I am still all Rover, but have swapped my Tourer for a 1990 2.7 ltr Vitesse of the 800 range.
I am planning on keeping my profile open, as my friend who bought my Tourer may need some pointers every now and then.
I have owned my Tourer for nearly 4 years and I have had, what I think, a good run from it. A snapped cambelt was the biggest suprise, but luckily, all I needed to do was replace the belt and tensioner.
Of my annoyance was problems with the ABS and the rear brake callipers. But I got it sortede eventually.
I have travelled 60,000 kms approx in that car in my ownership.
See you around from time to time.
Graeme

Re: Sold my Tourer
I love the early 800's.
My parents used to have a 90 820 fastback and a 92 sterling 2.7 Honda engine, which I later inherited, that was a beast of a car by the time I sold it was on nearly 200000 miles but had quite a few electrical gremlins!
