That looks fantastic - I bet your brother is sick that he sold it. He should sell his Mondeo and buy another R8!

The alloys were fitted to the Rover 218Vi which had the 1.8VVC engine. They look much better on your car than I imagined and a definite improvement over the plastic trims. Did you change the front bumper as well or was it like that?

he got his mondeo on finance so hes still paying it off the fool !! it originally came with lattice alloys and yea thats the original front bumper ! was quite tempted to part ex her in for a 1.8 mg zs the other day though :s was immaculate

I have driven an MG ZS120 (the one with a 1.8 engine) and it was not very interesting. The owner has since sold it and bought a ZS180 because it was too slow. I'd keep the 220 if I was you!

That looks in lovely condition. Alloys go well on it too.

I do think Rover made some of the best alloy designs out there.
