Lockwood Dials?

Lockwood Dials?

Hey everyone thinking about getting some white lockwood dials for my 214SEi anyone ever fitted them before are they easy to do? do you have to take the needles off???

The ones I had were fitted with the needles on and were easy to do. They looked very smart, in my opinion.
Out in the desert with an old Jeep and a Volvo.
Back home: wife's 1993 216 DOHC Cabriolet, daughter's 2002 R25 and my 1969 MGC GT

so how do you fit them with the needles on? thats the bit i dont understand?

Each card is fitted separately (speedo, rev counter and two minor gauges, making 4 pieces). The centre hole is large enough to slip over the needle, bu this does leave a dark area around the centre of the needle but it' not really noticeable. What I did was paint the centre area with white paint before fitting the card.
