Just a quick one for you folks can anyone tell me if the hazards are supposed to flash when the remote central locking is activated on the R8 214SEi?? one of my colleague have landrover with the 5as system in his hazards flash twice when he locks the car and once when he opens it.

if not does anyone have a clue on how to wire it up to do so?

They don't.

I'm not sure how if its possible.

as a guess im thinking or using the remote actuator in the drivers door to control a flashing relay connected to the back side of the hazard flashing relay ... needs some thinking about

the later r8's flash. 96 onwards i think.

It is dependant on which 5AS is fitted. Only late R8's will flash. The earlier ones won't. You could add it but its a fair amount of work for no real gain.

Hmm, ours is a very late one and it does not flash... (luckily).

Also heard this about late R8's but mine is a late 's' reg coupe and doesnt flash either

My 1999 Tourer flasher but my late 1996 Cabriolets do not and the 1998 coupes do not
