yep the 16" fits - here's mine wearing them and they look great, make the car look more modern I think.

But......standard tyre fitment from the ZS is 205/50/16 and the fronts will rub slightly on full lock. Maybe it just happens on mine because the car is lowered.

Its easily solved though - I fitted 205/45/16 on the fronts and now they're fine. rears are OK with 205/50/16

here's a pic.....

ha yes very similar. The red stripe on the bumper on yours is the giveaway! And I dont have a tow bar, although I have been given one for free if I ever needed to fit one.

Very old thread to ressurect I know, but does anyone know what alloys were actually a Dealer Option on the cars when they were new, please? (specfically, a '96 416 Tourer in my case).

I am a semi-stickler for originality and, in my world, where I could take my pick of ny 14, 15 or 16" alloys from the 200/ 400/ 25/ 45/ ZR or ZS ranges, I would ideally like to try to get hold of some which would have been an original option at the time keeping it 'unmodified', effectively.

I guess a brochure from the time would help!

Cheers all - is that odd?!!

I'd say that this club should be a natural repository for such information!
