Newbie saying hello

Post by puddlejumper »

Hi

I'm new to the forum, but not new to Austins,MG's and Rovers, with a small collection that I have built up over the last 4 or 5 years.

I have just taken delivery of my 220GSi turbo the weekend before last, it needs some work but he ho it's a genuine turbo. It should look nice when finished alongside my 220GTi turbo.

I just need to get my hands on a 420GSi turbo and that will be the R8's completed

Thanks for having me. I'm sure i'll have loads of questions for you guys and gals as I return them to factory spec

Surely you need a 220 Turbo coupe to complete the set ?!

Hope to see you on the 21st

I think we have spoke on Rovertech. Thanks for the teaser, maybe next year

Mr Teddy Bear
I am hoping to go, I live just up the road in Brum, but i'll be going in my everyday Pug, so i'll be in the public car park

*laughs*, how could I have forgotten the coupe turbo. I have spent a fortune this year on MG Rovers, so no more cars this year (well not until the next car on my want list pops up), but next year I've my sights on adding a 420 GSI Turbo (preferably the pre facelift version, not sure if they are the sport turbo or not)

The Gti Turbo is only a rolling shell, but it'll be eventually rebuilt
