I'm aiming to be there around 9 to set up the flag as a marker for where we're located and Jeremy and I will help marshalling to get cars to the right place.

Re: PoL - 18th April 2015
Just FYI for those who aren't that local - Central TV (Birmingham) are giving out good weather forecasts for the region over the weekend - 15 degrees and sunny - Saturday is the better day of the two. Online reports say rising as high as 16 in the afternoon with a 1% chance of rain and up to 15mph winds... perfect day for the cars and for flag flying...

Thanks for the info John. That is very unseasonal weather for POL. It is usually freezing cold as last year, wet or blowing a gale force wind!!

I don't think the weather forecasts imply "Summer heat" but it has been rather good down here the last few weeks. I don't think you should turn up in just your club polo shirt - wear something warmer on top and bring a coat, then shed the layers as necessary...

It's easy to get a face-full even on an overcast day
