I'm 23 I have a 1994 216 lsi auto, and a 1988 maestro 1.6L

Well im 19 and my only Rover is a 420 GSi Turbo.

But I also own 3 3.0 Vauxhall Omegas, 2 MV6 Manuals and an Elite auto.
Proof that you don't have to own sh!t slow Fiestas as a young 'un

O', and my pride and joy, my 1985 Opel Monza GSE 3.0E Manual. One of the last ever built and one of only a few dozen remaining RHD Manual GSEs

I also have a few runarounds, including a 1.6 Civic estate, and my super frugal Cavalier Turbo Diesel

Only car I've ever owned, that I don't currently have in my possession was my first car, a 1996 Honda Accord 2.2i VTEC

I'm a even older git just lets say I'm old enough to be most people's dad on this forum.

I had a 1997 Rover 416SLi new shape for the last 3 years had 113,000 on the clock and still going strong I have just sold it to and friend for £700
I now have bought a Rover 75 Classic CTD SE 2.0ltr Diesel.
so probably the wrong forum for me now

Oh go on then, I'm 59 and have had roughly a car a year since passing my test at 18, making my 216 my 43rd car. Along the way theres been everything from a rally Escort Mk.1 to some old bangers caused by marriage and house buying, a couple of highly modded fast road/sprint type motors, a couple of yanks, a couple of kit cars and of course a Rover 216 GSI at present.

rover owner age isnt important what is is keeping them look good

my mate whose 20 now has just bought a 620ti to restore and another owns a vitesse

my fossil of a father has a 216 coupe and a 45

Trying to keep myself and the Rover looking young! I am now 32 but the car is owned by my wife who was 28 when we bought it. My sister has got a Rover 25 and she is 24 - although when she got her first Rover she was 21 I think.

I see loads of young people driving Rovers, especially Rover 100s and the bubble 200s - the old man's car is a myth, as many of them are young women.

i am 16 , and own a rover 220 gsi turbo , i 1st got the car when i was 15
it is my first rover, i have had alot more cars such as this

: 1) was my morris marina 1.3

i got it when i was 14 ,

: 2) i then bought a very cheap mitsubishi starion , for £100 , but it was knackered

: 3) a saab 900 8 v turbo

: 4 ) another saab 900 turbo 2 door which is very rare

: 5 ) yet another saab this time it was a 9000 2.3 turbo ,

: 6 ) volvo amazon went to scrapyard in the sky

: 7 ) a nissan 300zx z31 , awsome car ,

: 8 ) now this , my rover 220 gsi turbo

all these cars cost under £300 and were kept in my dads garage

Im 31 and have pwned 4 Rovers now i think.

Rover 100 Rio Grande M plate
216 SLi H Plate
216 GTi J plate
220 GTi K Plate <-- Current car

Wasnt Rover known as the poor mans roll royce. My dad, after the state his Austin Princess ended up swore never to buy a british car again.
Personally i can now see why
