rover 216 gsi 1990- cheltenham
New to the club and we have owned this car for probably 18 years . It was originally a daily telegraph company car and has full leather interior, pas and the lattice alloys . I have all the history from new and it had one other owner who we bought it off.
i have resisted my wifes request to get rid of it , it was her car , as it has been off the road 8 years, but needs a couple of bits of sill, i have a brand new sill , and a bit of paint which i can do over the winter, if i can start it, you can read the saga of trying to get it to go on another bit of the forum.
done 114k and drives really well and normally starts easily, it will get fixed and i will solve this starting problem.
I am an early toyota celica man hence my id , but always been attached to this rover hence still here, had a g plate 214gsi as a company car , long gone.
look forward to catching up at a show when i can get it started, would love to meet up with local members , i am cheltenham.
cheers malcolm.
can't seem to get any photos up.

there were more photos in that bucket , you seem to have got photos of my toyota classics, can you remove these and substitute the other rover ones.

It looks great in Atlantic Blue with blue interior. As I mentioned at the NEC it is almost an identical spec to the sectioned car (except the engine). It would make a perfect twin for a show at some point when you have re-commissioned it.

Hi jeremy , getting really frustrated with this no start problem , `I am reasonably mechanically minded but to date no progress, is there somebody i can ring to walk through solutions to this problem. as you can see the car needs a little attention but is a good basis to return to very good.

You're fortunately within the orbit of A E Wilcox of Wickwar (GL12 8NG), if you need competent professional advice. They've had mentions on here!
