Alloys fit?

Post by Hammond »

Sorry guys another question.
Will MGTF alloys for on a 214 Rover?

I'm sure I saw somewhere that MG are specific to their cars only.

Pretty sure that t hub stud spacings are different, my boy posed the same question a while back whilst running a ZR and was given the same reply. No doubt someone will confirm/deny!

Being at work not been able to measure PCD but good old Google reckons the R8 has the same PCD as the MGF's.
Will measure tomorrow and answer my own question :clapping

I'm sure the MGF rims are the same as the Metro/100 but they shoudln't fit the R8.

Do you need rims as I have a few MGF/TF alloys that need to be gone ?

The PCD shows the origins of the 2 cars.

MG F was the last of the 'BL-derived' line and so used the "3 3/4 inch" PCD.

R8, being co-developed with Honda, used the then prevalent metric equivalent.
I like Twin Cams.... and Single Cams...and now Turbos
