Radio code for Rover Phillips radio

Post by jol »

Hi,

I have a 1991 J reg Rover 200 - my radio code is missing from the book pack and I have recently disconnected the battery.

Does anybody know if there is a way I can find out the code on the internet for free as I would prefer not to pay somebody £30 to decode it?

Thanks in advance

I used the site below for my 400 bubble when I didn't know the code. Came up trumps. And more importantly it was free although donations are welcome.

Obviously can't say that it'll be any good for you but hopefully so :clapping

I've used this site for the period Rover radios from '89 to '96 and beyond. Always works:

https://www.radio-code.co.uk/rovermg-radio-codes.html

£8.99 all in - the code is just given to you on the screen.

You need to be able to read the 14-digit code stamped into the metal on the side of the unit, usually beginning RG...
