Do they 'park' normally at the bottom of the screen when you switch them off from slow or fast speed?

If not, it is likely to be a fault in the self-park switch built in to the motor: just get a secondhand motor from a breaker.

On intermittent, the relay only powers the motor for half a second to get the wipers moving, then the self-park circuit is supposed to take over.

Yes it sounds like a duff motor. One from a scrap car should get you back on track cheaply and quickly.

I changed the motor on my sisters 200 bubble. Cost £30 from the scrappy, and took me about 40 mins. I've got a motor suitable for your car in the shed if you need one (I brought it as a spare, but the car is long gone!)

wiper motor

Post by fleetservice673 »

hi mate
yes i am interested what are you asking for it? the motor on the car now only works properly in the fast mode when pulled down all other positions the wipers stick all over the place.
is the motor easy to get to and is it all straight forward unbolting and rebolting and wiring etc?
