What happens when you remove the plugs? Do you get the same tight spot?

Are you sure you've got the plug leads and the distributor ends on the right way round? (Actually if it is a S reg coupe engine then it'll be a coil pack setup I think).

got it sorted it was my clifford delaying the power reaching the ecu once i removed the clifford it started and runs great, apparently its a common thing with clifford alarms not likeing the managment system on my coupe *laughs* but thanks for all your help pal and also thanks to george at Rova Systems Motorsport (RSM)

You are joking I hope. RSM is prettymuch a swear word in Rover circles.

Glad he helped you out in this case but seek advice before parting with lots of dosh to him...

just to clear it up i didnt part with lots of cash he came to me in sheffield from stoke sorted my car out and charged me £10 *laughs* mint etv give me a call or pm me with your number please pal

Well maybe he has turned over a new leaf, but for as long as I've been on the Rover scene I've not heard many good things. Its up to individuals to make their own minds up, but before spending serious wads of cash with anyone I always avdise people to check out that persons reputation and quality of work.

I've only seen one RSM car (MG ZR T16 turbo), and I wouldn't send my car there. But like I said its up to each individual to make their own decisions.

not his work as he does seem to know what he is on about but other things are what disturbed me
