My sons having a go at cleaning the auto relay switch all solder joints look fine the next step is the starter motor but it looks like I would have to order it anyway. If I order one would you be willing to fit it for me obviously I would pay you but also it would be good to get another opinion?

Surely, if the engine is turning on the key but the car not starting, then there is nothing wrong with the starter motor? Or am I missing something?

Thanks for the offer its nice to know there's someone local who can help me but don't worry I won't bother you unless I have to. The relays back in situ and its started 7 times on the trot so fingers crossed it just needed a good clean I'll know better tomorrow when I use it for work.
