LVD Charcoal 1994-2000 was mainly seen on late coupes but you are right, rare to see on 400's

Are you considering buying something and the seller has an inflated price because it's "rare" ??

It might be a little-seen colour, but I'm not sure how much it adds to the value of a car.

FWIW, I think charcoal does make it look more "business like" and a more serious car, but a lot of people don't like the slick businessman image.

Charcoal was a standard colour on the later versions of the 214SEi. It was also used in publicity material for the later (R3 dash) Tourers.
