Bedfordshire rover meet up?!

Post by Jamesridgway1994 »

Anyone who would be interested in a meet up a drive on some twistys plz comment your available times and days and we will sort out a happy medium between people coming.

Route starting.. the pub next to roundabout in clophill? The follow the twistys down to bedford and down to the A480 and Thru the B660 ending up in St neots for coffee/food?

I'm free every other Monday every Sunday and evenings after 7.

Just a idea plans subject to change please comment ideas below!

You’re missing the best bit of the B660-the bit from Kimbolton to Ramsey! The first part from Bedford to Kimbolton, while curvy, is festooned with villages and speed restrictions.

Sunday’s aren’t usually too bad for me, I’ll only be able to make some evenings as I work alternating early/late shifts.

Thanks
I pay about that for regular insurance, I ping pong between AA and Hastings alternate years.
Was hoping to find one with <5K mileage and still keep NCD for around £100.
Cheers

You probably get it less than me as I'm in apparently in very high risk area (which is true but can't imagine anybody would steal the Rover), cars left on drive, no security and has mods

Cheers, I'll make enquiries, not due til July .. I have been thinking it would be nice to give her some TLC as I've done bangernomics for 10 years and I feel she needs repaying for being so reliable, unusually for a female! :laughing2

10 years motoring for £340... not bad.

I'd like to find other guys locally who have old cars and perhaps share a workshop similar to Men IN Sheds and help each other keep them on the road.

As numbers in owners clubs dwindle the HUBNUT approach seems to be the way forward, mixed marques all co-operating.. thoughts?
Cheers
