Using proper bearing press on outer part only

When pushing in hub supporting centre so it doesn’t push it out

It’s a generic bearing

Looking at it it’s the hub and bearing that are solid but moving in the knuckle
Slightly

So must be the knuckle that’s worn as someone has said

Unless we’re thinking the whole bearing is the wrong size

Bearing should be an interference fit all the way in. Then of course the huge circlip goes on, but this is only for retention. I've had the wrong size circlip sent by Rimmer Bros before now and I made them aware of it. But this is obvious if they're too small as they just rattle around once inserted.

Can't remember who makes the bearings - SKF would be the best aftermarket make, otherwise genuine Rover or Honda. The Rover ones could just be re-badged SKF bearings anyway. FAG should also be good quality.

All very strange but I hope a new knuckle sorts it.

A good machine shop will be able to measure up both the outside dia of the bearing assembly and also the internal dia of the bore in the knuckle.

If a previous bearing outer race has seized to the rollers and then spun in the knuckle for example, there should be visual evidence of whats happened once the bearing has been pressed out again.
