Great article that makes our hearts even warmer! :thumbup
It reminds me my first 1991 Rover 214Gsi, actually my beloved parents' one previously, I kept alive from 1998 to 2015.

The event was a fantastic idea. The day was a fabulous day. The organisers did an incredible, praiseworthy job. This is great coverage. This is a club to be proud of. Thank you so much for putting this together for us. Long live our R8s.

What an absolutely first class article. It describes the events of the day brilliantly and showcases what great cars the Rover 200 & 400 cars still are 30 years on.

There are small reports of this event in this week's editions of both Classic Car Buyer and Classic Car Weekly, very small in the case of the latter.

Had a sneaky peek at both when I was in WH Smith the other day (I'm not usually tight but I detest paying nearly £3 for a newspaper, and one which the articles are mostly regurgitated from magazines) and the write up in the former is certainly much better.

I guess it's too much to expect anything more as we're still a bit of a "niche" club! Hopefully the Auto Express article will be good!

The Telegraph's review of the R8 and our recent press launch is here - https://www.telegraph.co.uk/cars/classi ... -industry/

You do need to register to read the full article though, unless you already subscribe

Healthy discussion too :laughing2
