Hello,

My name is David and I've just joined the club.

I have a 1995 (M reg) 214SEi in Nightfire Red which I've had for nearly 23 years. I bought it when it was 2 years old in 1997 from Rover dealership Reg Vardy in Aberdeen, where I lived at the time. (I live in London now). It's done 77,000 miles. My annual mileage is tiny, so the mileage creeps up very slowly.

I haven't had any other car during the 23 years I've had this one. In fact it's only the 4th car I've ever owned since getting my first car in 1981! The previous 3 (with the time I had them for) were: Mini 1000 (4 years), Metro HLE (3 years), MG Metro (9 years).

I have a habit of keeping things a long time (everything, not just cars!)

That is a long time to keep one car, I had to scrap my first one and buy a lot of other stuff, before realising how good these are!

prepace, I found the photos of your cars - very smart! Mine is slightly later than yours and has body colour lower panels and bumpers.
