Black Sills

Post by Ron25GTi »

Could any tell me what black finish was applied to the sills on the Rover 25 at the factory. I think it would have been either matt or a satin finish?

Thanks!

I would say that it is definitely not matt.

I have used a standard gloss black spray for localised touching up on one of our 25s and it has been a good match. The textured 'stone chip' paint beneath the top coat stops the gloss from looking too, um, glossy!

Thanks, It is just for touching up so fingers crossed I'll order a can of black gloss and see how it goes!
