Just read about “ecu vacuum connector”, does that need to be connected??

Yes that's for the map sensor but you'll still have spark. Are the injectors pulsing when cracking?

Would seem a bit odd if the ECU was, by design, injecting fuel without also asking for a corresponding spark. Wouldn't improve the emissions figures!

Had a look, injectors are not firing. Plugs are dry.

If the ignition coil and spark plugs are not firing first place I would look is the crankshaft sensor

Crank sensor has been tested . There’s signal to ecu plug.

I think you might still have an immobiliser-related issue.

I have just tried an experiment on my wife's Rover 114: I let the immobiliser set itself (30 seconds after the engine has been switched off) and then tried to start the car.

As soon as I turned the ignition on, the fuel pump primed. Obviously the car would not start, as the immobiliser had taken out the starter circuit, ignition, etc. It would appear that the fuel pump circuit is not disabled by the immobiliser.

I am thinking that the immobiliser bypass that you think has been done on your system has not been done correctly, so your engine ECU is not providing any spark or injector commands.

I would suggest that forum member 'Bobbybrown' might be able to help you sort this.

OK, try Paul at Technozen Electronics: https://www.technozen-electronics.co.uk/

Alternatively, if you are thinking of going for a remap for more power, a remapping specialist can probably disable the immobiliser permanently at the same time.
