My god what a day, all the fun from the queue outside to the queue inside, was awesome. Great to see everyone and what a fantastic turnout even with the threat of rain I still managed to end up like a lobster.
I have no voice now but I know me, Paul (aka project Nigel) and minion had fun from when we set off at daft o’clock all the way till we got home.
Bring on the next event.

It was nice to put a few faces to names yesterday and a good selection of vehicles too. I would have stayed longer, but unfortunately the fatigue caught up with me.
It's also a pity that I managed to lock myself out of the 45, but a big thank you to everyone who helped me get back in......including the couple in the green ZR parked next to me!
And finally, thank you GTi John who suggested that I suffer from S.A.B.L.E. ........Stashed Accumulations Beyond Life Expectancy. I knew I wasn't to blame for my obsession!

I meant to say ZS. It's another example of how fick I've become over the last two years!Mr Teddy Bear wrote: ↑Mon Jul 12, 2021 7:51 am Hey you must have been parked two cars away from me!I thought it was a green ZS though? I was in the Charcoal met' 216 SLi on the other side, there was a red TR6 on my left. Did you by chance notice the milky blue duo tone 216 SLi with the blue trim? the first owner had ordered a blue leather interior, it had rear head rests which surprised me because it was a phase 1.
If I had realised it was you, I would have said hello. Perhaps we should have our forum names in the windscreen for future meets, so we can identity each other?
I should have looked at the blue one more closely. Oh well, perhaps next time.
