AFAIK no it does not, no visible knob or gauge. Perhaps those who were involved in the build could confirm, but it drives as if the boost comes in gradually/further up the rev range as opposed to the little kick at 2500rpm that I've experienced with my previous ones with a manual controller and gauge.

It may also be the actuator on the turbo failing, there is a little rubber diaphragm inside that can sometimes get perforated.

When the fault occurs, when driving you can only push the accelerator so far so that you get to c 50 mph then if you push it further the car slows down (loses power). Stationary you can only rev to c.3.5K rpm then if you push the accelerator further it returns to idle.

Anyway, garage say the fuel pressure test was done after the fuel filter so would already take that into account.

Now focus is on ECU/sensors (as when you switch off the fault goes away for a while then comes back) so garage trying to find/adapt the wiring loom to recreate the 800's fault code reading socket...as I am advised that during the restoration a 220 wiring loom could not be found so a 620/820 one was used which was adapted.

Sounds like the ignition timing is out, or the cams. Something like that. I'd imagine if so, lambda reading may be well off?

How about fuel filter?
