Can someone explain why one now has to log on to view the techincal forums ?
Being a fairly regular reader but irregular poster I often browse when inbetween things and hadn't bothered to log in. Also, surely the techincal advice would be of use to guests et cetera?

Someone one is quick I only changed it about an hour ago.

It was only an experiment, if people want it back the way it was then I will change it. I didn't expect anyone would notice that quick.

Now what what give you that idea. ;) I was thinking it might help grow the community a little and tempt people to sign up. I didn't think that people viewed without logging in as I just have my cookie set.

Like I say though I'll change it back if people object, I was only fiddling and experimenting with the settings.

don't know if tis just me - but i've found i don't use this site as much since been forced to spend time login in every visit. i am lazy, and only log in when i've something to say. but if no one shares this opinion, just tell me to shut up and i'll play along as is
