I guess this is largely down to the fire at The Aviator last week.

Following the surprise announcement by Sywell that they were cancelling our booking, the event will now be held in Weston Underwood, MK46 5JS. This is around 12 miles south of Sywell. The event is being organised by the Joint Rover Clubs of Great Britain (JRC) of which our club is part of, so this event is being organised by the constituent clubs for the benefit of their members. Although the main rally is on the Sunday, on Saturday there will be an opportunity to take part in a choice of road runs starting and finishing at the Rally Field. With the change in location we are now also able to run various driving tests on site on the Saturday. The driving tests consist of manoeuvring between cones and reversing into cone garages and judging the car's width and height etc. This was a popular activity on the Saturday at Roverfest 2017. To enable us to run this activity we need four volunteers from each club to help run the driving tests. You will be provided with the kit and you will be given instructions on what to do. If you are willing to help with this please respond below.
We will also need help with the marshalling of cars on Sunday so once again if you can help on Sunday please add your name below.
Roverfest in 2017 was the largest gathering of Rovers since MG Rover used Upper Heyford Airfield for the storage of new cars in 2005! Hopefully we can achieve a similar number at Roverfest 2022.

We are just over three weeks away, so now is the time to book your tickets for Roverfest. Pre-booking is available via the link below:-

https://www.roverfest.uk/entry-form/

Please check the Roverfest website for a list of activities on each day. The main show is on Sunday 7th August.

There are currently 320 cars booked in but only 25 of our club cars. It would be great to get a better representation of our cars at this event. Please add your name to the list below if you are attending:-
