You can paw the 620 Si at FOTU - P394DOH I may be looking to shift it on after that, but after taking it down to the MoT station today (after a month off the road whilst I fixed everything) via a healthy detour which may have accidentally included some country lanes, I'd forgotten what a wafty and sumptuous old barge this is...only had it three months, and with 54K on the clock and a Honda engine, it's barely even run in yet.Paul_1978_yorks wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2019 11:56 pmJust looking at your signature - what a great collection of cars! To be fair, I wouldn't worry too much about age - drop them a message on Facebook - they seem to be quite flexible on the reg year as long as it's something a bit different. Don't recall seeing any cabbies there last year.

If you enter for concours, you don't have to worry about the car actually being concours if you display it in that section, which is what I did last year with my SD3. I didn't actually submit mine for concours, but was instead invited later. All in all, you won't be disappointed as it has a very different atomosphere to most shows and you might get to shake the hands of Edd China or Danny Hopkins.
I'll be going again, as I've been four times previously. No doubt members of this club would enjoy it if you haven't been before, but its appeal might be changing raising the age limit to 1996 from 1989. Back in shows early days: 2014, the show felt like you were transported back to a certain era.

I've just found out from an 'inside source' they are doing an Anniversary Class this year (for any cars celebrating anniversaries this year) so I have asked whether they have included any R8s in this new class - I expressed my sadness as I'm taking the 620 (although I reckon it's likely to be the only 600 there) but bigged up the Club, so hopefully they will include R8s if not already done so.
Has anyone received a notification their car is in the Anniversary Class ?
I will keep you posted.
