Mine started doing that, ended up with a snapped timing belt.

ummm theres a sensor or sumthing that goes dodgy on them isnt there?? il try find the thread i read it in, its sumwhere on this site!

i asked a garage few weeks back, i changed the dizzy cap and arm, been fine since
