On thing I didn't mention up to this point was that the rear nearside ARB mount had started to come away from the chassis (quite a common on the R8), so that has also been replaced

Car is due to go in for the first coat of paint tomorrow. An hopefully, if this bloody bumper ever materialises, theres a possibility that the car will be completed by the end of the week, but I'm not getting my hopes up too much!

looks agood job need to do the same with mine one arch on my cab needs the rust cut out can you give me a contact number of the garage please if you dont mind tom

It scares me to speak of the cost. Lets put it this way, its a signigicant chunk of money, but I'm hoping it will pay for itself in the long run!

Just been for another visit this morning. Still no sign of my new back bumper :x

In the meantime, here are some photos of the current state of play. The shell has had its primer coat applied and the door shuts and sills have had a their top coat and lacquer applied prior to fitting the skirts.

What back bumper are you going for? Roversport?

Love the skirts, really really want some for mine. Did you get the kit from Autofashion?
